Some years ago, our founder and the president of Caregivers World, Inc. (Pat Webster) developed breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor both she and her husband know from first hand experience how difficult caregiving can be, not only for the person who is ill but also for the caregiver. The emotional, physical and often times financial strains can be enormous when illness strikes. Then too, despite the fact that both Pat and her husband spent most of their working careers in the medical industry, they encountered situations where they needed certain products and yet were unable to find them.

During this ordeal the idea for a new company was formed. The goal of Caregivers World, Inc. is to develop and provide products to help improve the quality of life for both parties, the caregiver and the care recipient. Whether it is a step saving multi-pocketed Caregivers Apron, or Senior Skincare® products for those with fragile or delicate skin, they have striven to meet the needs of both the caregiver and the care receiver. Obviously, if the care recipient is comfortable and encouraged to be as independent as possible, this helps ease the job of caregiving.
